Lewis County Central Elementary Inspiring Leaders……. We honor the GREATNESS in you!! Counselor’s Corner
Welcome to the Counselor's Corner.  Thank you for taking the time to learn more about your school's Counselor.  As Central's Guidance Counselor, I do guidance classes once a week for students.  Topics that are covered during my classes include: Bullying, College Awareness, Internet Safety, Respect, Responsibility, Trustworthiness, Caring, Citizenship, and Fairness.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by email or by phone.   Central Elementary also hosts an on-site mental health therapist, Ms. Gray, through Comprehend Inc. Mental Health Services. Mrs. Katherine Gray visits Central two days each week to provide services to students.  At Central we are focusing on how individuals can be leaders by creating a learning environment that's conducive to student  achievement and performing at our highest potential.  By practicing, Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, students take responsibility for their education by applying key leadership principles and goal setting. Please ask your child/children about the 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People: 1.   Be Proactive 2.   Begin With the End in Mind 3.   First Things First 4.  Think Win-Win 5.  Seek First To Understand, Then To Be Understood 6.  Synergize 7.  Sharpen The Saw
